Resolution No. `t0f; 82
WHEREAS, pursuant to County Charter Section 3-14 interim amendments to
the Salary Ordinance may be by resolution;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
that the Salary Ordinance of 1982 is hereby amended for the following departments:
SECTION 8.04 (f). REAL PROPERTY TAX DIVISION. DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE.
Accounting and Collection Section
1. Reallocate one position of Data Entry Operator SR -8 (temporary
as needed) to Real Property Tax Clerk SR -12, permanent full-time.
ADD NEW SECTION 8.04 (g). DATA PROCESSING DIVISION. DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE.
1. Transfer from Section 8.04 (b), Division of Accounts, one
position of Computer Programmer III SR -18.
2. Transfer from Section 8.04 (b), Division of Accounts, one
position of Computer Operator SR -15.
3. Transfer from Section 8.04 (b), Division of Accounts, one
position of Data Processing Clerk -Operator SR -10.
4. Transfer from Section 8.04 (f), Real Property Tax Division,
Accounting and Collection Section, one position of Data
Entry Operator SR -8 (temporary as needed) and change the status
to permanent full-time.
SECTION 8.08 (c). BUREAU OF PLANS AND SURVEYS. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS.
1. Reallocate one position of Engineering Aid II SR -11 to
Engineering Drafting Technician IV SR -15.
SECTION 8.09 (b). RECREATION DIVISION. DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION.
1. Delete one position of Recreation Instructor SR -9.

SECTION 8.09 (b). RECREATION DIVISION. DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION.
1. Change the time element of one position of Recreation Instructor
SR -9 from 1/2 time to full-time. Also, transfer position to
Section 8.09 (b), Recreation Division on Page 19.
2. Reallocate and change the time element of one position of Recreation
Aid SR -7 (1/2 time) to Recreation Instructor SR -9 (full-time). Also,
transfer position to Section 8.09 (b), Recreation Division, on
page 19.

3. Reallocate and change the time element of one position of
Recreation Aid SR -7 (1/2 time) to Recreation Instructor SR -9
(3/4 time).
SECTION 8.14 (a). OFFICE OF MANAGER. DEPARTMENT OF WATER SUPPLY.
1. Add one new position of Senior Clerk -Stenographer SR -11.
SECTION 8.14 (d). OPERATIONS DIVISION. DEPARTMENT OF WATER SUPPLY.
1. Add one new position of Mechanical Engineer V SR -26.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a'copy of this resolution be transmitted
to the departments of Finance, Public Works, Parks and Recreation, Water
Supply and Civil Service for their information.
