RESOLUTION NO. 121 99
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THB ACCBPTANCB OF A DONATION OF FIYB (S) CAMERAS WITH
ACCESSORIES, FRON SOLID ROCK MINISTRIES.
WHBRBAS, Solid Rock Ministries of Kailua-Kona, has donated five cameras (one
polaroid instant one step express camera, two Minolta Maxxum 3005E camera with Zoom
35-70 lens and two BOS Rebel Kit G Camera with accessories (camera bag, film and
battery) retail value two-thousand two-hundred thirty-three and ninety-six cents
(;2,233.96); and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides
that the Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts or donations or personal
property;
NOW, THBRBFORB BB IT ABSOLVED BY THB COUNCIL OF TH6 COUNTY OF HAWAII that in
accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, the Hawaii
Police Department is authorized to accept the donation of five cameras with accessories
from the Solid Rock Ninistries of Kailua-Kona.
BB IT FURTHER ABSOLVED that a letter of appreciation be sent to Pastor .Tames
Texeira, Solid Rock Ministries at 73-4855 Kanalani Street, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii 96740,
acknowledging this generous donation.
