RESOLUTION NO. 123 99
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF A DBSKTOP COMPUTER WITH
ACCESSORIES, FROM PUMA GEOTHERMAL VENTURE.
WHEREAS, Puna Geothermal Venture, has donated a Gateway 2000 486DX/33 Desktop
Computer with monitor, keyboard and mouse valued at one hundred dollars 0100); and
WHEREAS, Article RIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides
that the Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts or donations or personal
property;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THB COUNTY OF HAWAII that in
accordance with Article RIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, the Hawaii
Police Department is authorized to accept the donation of a desktop computer with
accessories from the Puna Geothermal Venture.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation be sent to Barry Mizuno,
Finance Manager, Puna Geothermal Venture at P.0. Box 30, Pahoa, Hawaii 96778,
acknowledging this generous donation.
