SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT:
KEANALEHU DRIVE
25 MPH SPEED LIMIT
We request the Hawai'i County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 1, Speed Limits,
Section 24-255, Schedule 3. 25 mile per hour limit, paragraph (f) Kona be amended by
adding new items:
KEANALEHU DRIVE.
The need for this amendment is to update the Hawaii County Code to match the posted
speed limit on the existing portion of Keanalehu Drive and the new portion of Keanalehu
Drive as a part of the LaTopua Connector Road Project.
This is the third of three traffic code amendments related to the the Kealakehe
Elementary school zone.
A location map is attached for your reference.
