Your Committee on Planning, to which was referred Communication No. 440, reports as
follows:
Communication No. 440, transmitted by Council Member Kelly Greenwell, dated
July 13, 2009 presents a resolution encouraging greater dialogue between the U.S. Fish and
Wildlife Service, the State of Hawaii and the County of Hawaii to establish an open format for
managing public lands.
There was no public testimony regarding the resolution.
Your Committee on Planning is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No 212-09,
and recommends its adoption.
