Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution 214-09, reports as follows:
Resolution 216-09, transmitted by Director of Finance Nancy Crawford, via Communication No. 450,
dated July 21, 2009, amends Resolution 504-08 relating to the County of Hawaii Special Fuel Tax
Program to include liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in the operative extension provision, at the rates
adopted on March 25, 2008.
The provisions of Hawaii Revised Statutes §243-5, enable empower, and authorize the Council of the
County of Hawaii to determine the amount of the County's fuel tax.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution 214-09, and
recommends its adoption.
