WHEREAS, Guillerma G. "Irma" Sumera, was selected "Secretary'
of the the Year 1982" by the Professional Secretaries
International -Big Island Chapter; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Sumera has served an active role in the
Professional Secretaries International -Sig Island Chapter as
correspondence secretary, vice president, chairperson of seven
committees and currently as a director on the board of directors;
and
WHEREAS, Ms. Sumera, private secretary to Sidney Fui-e, County
of Hawaii's Planning Director and recipient of the County
"Non -Supervisory Employee of the Year" award in 1979 has been a
great asset to the productive operations of the Planning
Department; and
NO°WD THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE WONTY OF
HAWAII that it extends its congratulations to Irma Sumera for
being selected "Secretary of the Year 1982" for the Bi; Island
Chapter -Professional Secretaries International.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of Hawaii
transmit a true copy of this resolution to Ms. Irma Sumera and to
the Professional Secretaries International -Big Island Chapter.
