WHEREAS, Mr. Sidney Fuke, County of Hawaii's Planning
Director, has been selected "Boss of the Year 1982" by the
Professional Secretaries International (PSI) -Big Island Chapter;
and
WHEREAS, Mr. Fuke began his career as a planner in 1971, was
appointed to deputy director, and finally to Planning Director in
1977 where he serves in an advisory capacity to the Mayor, the
County Council., and other planning organizations; and
WgEREAS, Mr. Fuke, a PSI supporter, reflects his leadership
and planning abilities through the numerous planning, employee
performance, and NACo awards bestowed upon the Planning Department.
NOI-, THERErOBF,, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
YAidAII that it recognizes and congratulates Sidney Fuke, Planning
Director for the County of Hawaii, for his selection as "Boss of
the Year 1982" by the Professional Secretaries International -Big
Island Chapter.
BE IT FURTHER &ESULVBD that the Clerk of the County of Hawaii
transmit a true copy of this resolution to Mr. Sidney Fuke and to
the Professional Secretaries International -Bi, Island Chapter..
