RESOLUTION N0. 340 82
WHEREAS, Guillerma "Irma" S. Sumera, Private Secretary to
County Planning_ Director Sidney Puke, has been chosen 1982 State
Secretary of the Year by the Professional Secretaries
International (PSI) - Hawaii Division; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Sumera's selection honors her long-standing
leadership role in the PSI organization and her outstanding
secretarial performance which have been preceeded by awards of
1979 Hawaii County Employee of the Year -Non -Supervisory and 1982
Secretary of the Year for the Big Island Chapter PSI; and
WHEREAS, tis. Sumera's dedication and commitment to excellence
on the job balanced by positive, personable attributes are valued
and appreciated by those for whom and with whom she works.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that it congratulates Irma Sumera for being selected State
Secretary of the Year 1982 by the Professional Secretaries
International -Hawaii Division and extends continued best wishes in
her advancement to the PSI Southwest District competition which
covers eleven states.
BE IT FURTHER (RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of Hawaii
transmit copies of this Resolution to kis. Irma Sumera, Mr. Sidney
Fuke, Hawaii County Planning Director and Big Island Chapter -PSI.
