Resolution
WHEREAS, the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has advised
the County of Hawaii that it will accept applications for amendments to the
grant applications Entitlement 1978 and Entitlement 1979; and
WHEREAS, it is recognized that the Federal application requires certain
assurances and certifications from the County with respect to the Block Grant
Program, as contained in Form HUD -7015.12 (see attachment) and
WHEREAS, it is recognized that a timely submission of the applications for
amendments in accordance with the appropriate Federal regulations is necessary;
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the U. S.
Department of Housing and Urban Development is hereby assured of full compliance
by the County with the assurance and certification requirements contained in
Form HUD -7015.12; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the County of Hawaii is hereby
authorized to execute applications for Block Grant amendments in the total
amount of $64,410.00 for the activity of Archaeological Analysis of Historical
Materials for the analysis of historical materials recovered from TMK: 3-7-8-
10: 4 and submittal of Final Report; and to file such applications with the
U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for their review, to provide
such additional information as may be required to execute any other related
documents necessary to process the applications, and to act as the authorized
representative of the County.
