WHEREAS, at the recent international convention of the
Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) held in Honolulu, Robert K.
McGill was honored for his contribution over the years in the
automotive field and for his service to the SAE: and
WHEREAS, McGill, being a member of the SAE for 28 years and
served as their chairman for the Hilo group for. 16 years; and
WHEREAS, McGill is a consultant and an owner of the Automotive
Consultant firm in Hilo; and
WHEREAS, as a teacher, McGill instructs the plantation
superintendents, department heads, and mechanics, in operation and
maintenance of trucks, tractors, and field equipments; and
WHEREAS, McGill is also an accident investigator., photographer,
and witness.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that it extends its congratulations to Robert K. McGill for
being honored by the Society of Automotive Engineers for his
contribution over the years to SAE and in their field of services.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of Hawaii
transmit a true copy of this resolution to Robert K. McGill.
