RESOLUTION NO. 244 81
O
WHEREAS, Zanga Schutte won the 1981 All -Around Cowboy title at the
recently concluded Hawaii Rodeo Association's State Finals held at the
Waikoloa arena; and
WHEREAS, this championship and honor is awarded to the paniolo who
is cumulatively judged the best at the many rodeos conducted during
the course of a year in events as Double Mugging, Poo Wai'u, Team
Roping, Calf Roping, Bronc Riding and Bull Riding; and
WHEREAS, in four of the seven rodeo competitions held this year,
Zanga Schutte emerged with cop honors attesting to his consistency and
his all-around skills as the deserving top cowboy for the year 1981.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that in recognition of this attainment of this esteemed title
of the State of Hawaii's All -Around Cowboy, extends to Zaiiga Schutt_
con3.ratulations for his excellence in the field of rodeo competition.
BE IT FURTHa,.RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of Hawaii
remit a true copy of this resolution to Zanga Schutte, the 1981
All -Around Lowboy, and to Stemo Lindsey, President of the Paniolo
Country Club, sponsors of the event.
