Resolution
WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that
any contract, lease or other obligation requiring payment of
funds from appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more than
one fiscal year be approved by resolution of the Council;
WHEREAS, the County Real Property Tax Office will require
a telephone system for its operation; and
WHEREAS, the Hawaiian Telephone Company's K-36 Key System
which costs $500 per month is suitable for the tax office;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII:
1. That the contract for lease of the telephone system be
approved for the original five-year period and any renewal
thereof, and
2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal
years to cover the obligation of the County.
