County of Hawaii - State of Hawaii
Resolution
WHEREAS, the Hawaii Health Fair 181 is an opportunity for
thousands of Hawaii residents to improve the awareness of their own
health, receive health screening tests, and learn how lifestyle
changes can improve their health; and
WHEREAS, Hawaii Health Fair '81 will provide screening tests,
educational exhibits and follow-up calls at approximately 26 sites
all over the State of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, the Hawaii State Chapter of the American Red Cross
and KHON,TV2 are co -sponsoring this health fair with the support of
the National Health Screening Council and many local community
agencies, and will involve the voluntary efforts of many individuals
and agencies throughout the State,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that it supports the Hawaii Health Fair 181 Week set for
April 20 - 26, 1981, and urges the public's participation in this
worthy and helpful endeavor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of Hawaii
remit a copy of this resolution to V.E. Dolman, Chapter Chairman of
the American National Red Cross, and to George B. Hager, President
of KHON-TV2.
