SUBJECT: Resolution No. 224-09, Draft 2, Allowing Council Members to Contribute
a Portion of their Salary to Contingency Relief Fund v
Resolution 224-09, Draft 2 as amended with Communication No. 480.2 and
Communication No. 480.3, that was duly approved by the Council during its meeting on
September 2, 2009. Amendments are as follows:
1. Communication No. 480.2 amends the title to read as follows:
"A RESOLUTION ALLOWING COUNCIL MEMBERS TO
VOLUNTARILY REQUEST TO TRANSFER [Nn LESS THAN S5,000-1
ANY AMOUNT WITHIN INDIVIDUAL SALARY LIMITS FROM
COUNTY CLERK'S SALARY AND WAGES (S&W) ACCOUNT TO THE
CONTINGENCY RELIEF ACCOUNT, TO BE APPROPRIATED IN
ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT CONTINGENCY RELIEF FUND
PROCEDURES"
2. Communication No. 480.3 proposed amendment inserts a "Be It Further
Resolved" clause and is to read as follows:
"BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall be in effect
for the duration of the Council Member's current term, expiring at Noon
December 6, 2010."
