SUBJECT: Resolution No. 205-09 - Proposed Capital Improvement Project (CIP) to
be Added to the Priority List
The purpose of Resolution No. 205-09 is to combine proposed CIP projects from each Council
Member and create a priority list to submit to our Congressional delegation.
On July 7, 2009, Resolution No. 205-09 was postponed to September 15, 2009, to allow
Council Members time to research and submit their proposed CIP project(s) to be added to the
priority list.
I propose that the following CIP project be discussed for possible addition to the priority list:
Project: Ainaloa Waterline Installation
TMK(s): 3-1-6: 97 and 99
Benefits District(s): 3 and 5
Cost: $5 million (construction)
Project Description: To install a waterline from State Highway 130
along Ainaloa Boulevard to Wood Rose Drive in
the Ainaloa Subdivision in order to provide
water to residents and to the proposed Ainaloa
Volunteer Fire Company. Fire hydrants will also
be installed every 600 feet.
