Resolution
WHEREAS, the roads in the Aloha Estate Subdivision are in
desperate need of repair and maintenance; and
WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii through its Office of the
Corporation Counsel is in partial control of that certain fund in
Escrow Account 50-103 with the Bank of Hawaii for road maintenance
purposes in the Aloha Estate Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the Aloha Estate Association has appealed to the
County of Hawaii for release of said funds to the Association for
road repair and maintenance purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that it authorizes the Office of the Corporation Counsel
on behalf of the County of Hawaii to enter into an agreement with
the Aloha Estate Association for the release of funds in Bank of
Hawaii Escrow Account 50-103 for road repair and maintenance in
the Aloha Estate Subdivision.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the County of Hawaii
transmit copies of this resolution to the Honorable Herbert T.
Matayoshi, Mayor of the County of Hawaii; Mr. Sidney Fuke, Planning
Director; the Aloha Estate Association and the Bank of Hawaii.
