RESOLUTION NO. 179 99
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF FENCING MATERIALS
WHEREAS, Central Pacific Bank has donated fencing materials to be used by the Department of Parks and Rec-
reation to construct a fence on County of Hawaii property between the County Soccer field and the Central Pacific Bank
building on Kilauea Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the fencing materials have an estimated value of $2,008; and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the Council, on behalf of
the County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property.
NOW, THEREFOREIBE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, that in accor-
dance with Article XHI, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, the Department of Parks & Recreation is author-
ized to accept the fencing materials.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation be sent to Clifton Tsuji, Central Pacific Bank, 525
Kilauea Avenue, Hilo, Hawaii 96720, acknowledging this generous donation.
