County of Hawaii - State of Hawaii
Resolution
WHEREAS, it is the objectives of the County of Hawaii to
alleviate existing pollution sources, and
WHEREAS, the only conceivable way that government can
assure the people of the continued benefits presently being
realized is through the development of a comprehensive plan
such as the Facilities Plan for an area, and
WHEREAS, State and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
(EPA) grants are available for planning, design and
construction of certain wastewater management projects; and
WHEREAS, a Resolution of the County Council is required to
approve conceptually Facilities Plan containing these
wastewater management projects, which are eligible to receive
State and Federal grants,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the County Council that the
following Facilities Plan are hereby approved:
Wastewater Facilities Plan - Hilo District, South
Hilo, Hawaii
The Facilities Plan for the Kailua-Kona Sewerage
System, Phase IV, Northern Zone, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii
Kailua-Kona Facilities Plan - Southern Zone,
Kailua-Kona, Hawaii
Dated at Hilo, Hawaii, this 19th day of
1981.
