NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that it requests the State Department of Transportation to facilitate plans to expand the Keahole Airport Terminal to accommodate additional carriers. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that true copies of this resolution be transmitted to The Honorable Governor George R. Ariyoshi; Mr. Ryokichi Higashionna, Director, State Department of Transportation; Senate President Richard S. H. Wong; Speaker of the House Henry Peters; and all Big Island State Legislators.
