RESOLUTION NO. 223 8-1

WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii annually holds an Outstanding
Employee of the Year program which honors employees for their
outstanding contribution through their work and community activities;
and
WHEREAS, Airs. Yoshie Yamashita, Senior Clerk -Stenographer in
the Office of Aging has been selected as the 1980-81 Outstanding
Employee of the Year--Non-Supervisory Category; and
WHEREAS, her wisdom, stability, warmth and enthusiasm=has been
a source of inspiration since the-Pinception of the Office of Aging
in 1356; and -
WHEREAS, the meaning of life and compassion learned through
personal experience is reflected in her work and in her active
community service as demoxtstrated by her voluntary assistance to
the Civil Defense Agency during the -flooding disaster-•last.year.
NOW.1 THEREFORE, BE. IT. RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF' THE • COUNTY OF
HAWAII that it extends,its congratulations to Mrs. Yoshie Yamashita
on her selection as Hawaii County's 1950-81 Outs�tanding.Employee of
the. Year--Non-Sup-e,rviso,xy, Category.
