NAMING OF STREETS IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, STATE OF HAWAII.
WHEREAS, the Council of the County of Hawaii is authorized to adopt the street names of
unnamed roadways in the County of Hawaii pursuant to Section 22-35, Article 2, Chapter 22, Hawaii
County Code; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its regular meeting of December 2, 1999, approved
the name for the certain unnamed roadway within the Kalani Estates Subdivision, South Kohala,
Hawaii; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that said roadway,
as indicated on Exhibit "A" of this Resolution, be named as follows:
"Makana Aloha Place" meaning gift of friendship or love; freewill offering
Dated at Hilo, Hawaii, this 20th day of January , 2000.
