County of Hawaii -- State of Hawaii
Resolution
WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the Charter of the County of
Hawaii requires that any contract, lease or other obligation
requiring payment of funds from appropriations of a later
fiscal year be approved by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the County solicited bids for provision of
bus services between Honokaa and North Kohala to Mauna Kea
Beach Hotel for a three-year period with option to extend
for one more year but cancellable at any time with thirty
days notice.
NOW, 'THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII that three-year bus contracts be approved
and that necessary funds be provided in the following fiscal
years to cover the obligation of the County under these
contracts_
