Re Bill to Amend Chapter 24 of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as
Amended), Relating to Vehicles and Traffic
Attached please find a bill for an ordinance amending Chapter 24, article 10, division 1,
section 24-253 1, schedule 1 1 (15 miles per hour limit) of the Hawaii County Code 1983
(2005 Edition, as amended)
The proposed amendment, reducing the speed on a narrow, one-lane road, to be appropriately
numbered, is in Ramseyer format and reads as follows.
) Pi`ihonua Road, from a point .7 mile northwest of the terminus of
Waianuenue Avenue at the southern terminus of Bridge 25-2 to its
western terminus."
