(Res. 232-09) AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO
SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) (transfers funds of $955,123.86 from
the Data System’s Wireless E911 System account and credits same to the Police
Department’s E-911 account)

Program) account}

resolution. Kokua Counseling Services, a FY2009-10 County non-profit grant recipient
has informed the Finance Department that they will not be utilizing the funds. Therefore,
the department solicited for applications and granted the award to a program administered
by the Big Island Substance Abuse Council (BISAC).

ATTORNEY GENERAL, PURSUANT TO HRS 46-7, FOR THE VICTIMS OF CRIME
ACT GRANT FUNDED BY THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT
ACT; and
Recommends adoption of Res. 234-09:

(Bill 145) AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 09-64, AS AMENDED, THE
OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
ENDING JUNE 30, 2010 (appropriates revenues of $99,567 in the Federal Grants -
Victims of Crime Act - ARRA account; and appropriates same to the Prosecuting
Attorney’s Victims of Crime Act - ARRA account. This Federal American Recovery and
Reinvestment Act award will be used to provide assistance services to victims of felony
and misdemeanor violent crimes)
