SUBJECT: Approval of a Resolution Authorizing the Mayor to
Execute and Submit an Application for the Kaloko
Housing Project; Approval of an Appropriation Ordinance
for the 2009 Economic Development Initiative Funds
(EDI) Program
The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) submitted
the above-listed Resolution and Appropriation Ordinance to the
Hawaii County Housing Agency and received approval on
September 15, 2009. The votes for the Resolution and
Appropriation Ordinance are as follows:
AYES: B. Ford, G. Enriques, K. Greenwell, D. Ikeda,
E. Naeole, D. Yagong, J. Yoshimoto, P. Hoffmann--8
NOES: None
ABSENT AND EXCUSED: D. Onishi--1
Accordingly, I am requesting that the Resolution and
Appropriation Ordinance be included on the Council agenda for
action at its October 7, 2009, meeting.
