RESOLUTION CHANGING TIME ELEMENT OF EXECUTIVE
ASSISTANT II 1/4 TIME TO EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT II 215 TIME
WHEREAS, the Executive Assistant II 1/4T serves as the
Mayor's liaison to the newly reorganized Workforce Development
Board, formerly known as the Hawaii County Private Industry Council,
the Hawaii County Emergency Medical Services Commission, and in
matters relating to sister-city activities; and
WHEREAS, the Executive Assistant II 1/4T also recruits,
interviews and secures credit and police background checks for
qualified applicants for nomination to various committees and
commissions; and
WHEREAS, by increasing the time element of Position No. 4084,
Executive Assistant II 1/4T, EM-03, to Executive Assistant II 2/5T, EM-
03, the additional hours per week will be more productive in that by
completing tasks daily, the work flow will go smoother; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the Mayor's Regular Salaries
and Wages account (010-111-5111.01-011).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF
THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that Position No. 4084, Executive Assistant
II 1/4T, EM-03, be changed to Executive Assistant II 2/5T.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be
transmitted to the Office of the Mayor, and the Departments of Finance
and Civil Service.
