Re: Resolution for multi-year lease
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the payment of funds for more than one fiscal
year for a copier for the Office of Management (Mayor's Office). The office is in
need of a more technically advanced copier with faxing, scanning, and network
printing capabilities. Since their current copier is over 8 years old, the acquisition of
the new multi-function copier should increase the productivity and efficiency of this
office.

A. REQUEST:
Request resolution to allow the Department of Management (Mayor's Office) to enter into a multi-year
contract for a multi-function copier/fax/scanning machine.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
The Office of Management's current copier is over 8 years old and we would like to obtain a lease on a
newer, more technically advanced copier to increase the productivity and efficiency of our department.
