This project is intended to assess, build capacity, and plan for implementation of evidence based underage drinking prevention activities in Hawai'i County. The project scope calls for the creation of a coordinator (Program Manager) position which will be fully funded under this grant. Grant funding for this project was originally placed in the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney's FY2008-09 and FY2009-10 approved operating budget but they are in the process of being transferred, along with the control and responsibility, to the Office of Management. Enclosed is a resolution that creates a Program Manager position for the Office of Management.
