SUBJECT: Proposed Amendment to Bill 152; Relating to Hawaiian Ocean View Estates Water
Facilities Project (Public Improvements and Financing Thereof for the Fiscal Year
July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010)
At the request of the Finance Department, please find attached a proposed amendment to Bill 152,
relating to the Hawaiian Ocean View Estates Water Facilities Project.
The amendment changes the project account number, as illustrated below via Ramseyer format;
material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken through, material to be added is underscored.
SECTION 1 of Bill. 152 is amended to read as follows:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 09-65, as amended, Relating to Public Improvements
and Financing Thereof for the Fiscal Year July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010, is hereby
amended by adding the following project:
PUBLIC WORKS:
Hawaiian Ocean View Estates Water Facilities Project $ 400,000

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 09-65, AS AMENDED, RELATING
TO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
JULY 1, 2009 TO JUNE 30, 2010.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 09-65, as amended, Relating to Public
Improvements and Financing Thereof for the Fiscal Year July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010,
is hereby amended by adding the following project:
PUBLIC WORKS:
Hawaiian Ocean View Estates Water Facilities Project $ 400,000

SECTION 2. Funds for these projects shall be provided from:
General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund- $ 400,000
Fund Balance and/or Other Sources
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
