SUBJECT: Transmitting Resolution No. 205-09, Draft 3
Attached is Resolution No. 205-09, Draft 3, which urges Congress to support and provide
Federal funding for the highest priority capital improvement projects in the County of
Hawai `i.
On October 6, 2009, the Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations Committee
amended Resolution No. 205-09, Draft 2, via Communication Nos. 420.9, 420.10, 420.11,
and 420.12.
Resolution No. 205-09, as amended to Draft 3, was postponed to October 20, 2009, in
order to provide Council Members additional time to work on their submittals.
Please note that although the fifth "Whereas" clause states that the projects are ranked by
priority, the projects are actually listed in the order that they were submitted. After all
Council Members have submitted their proiects, only then will discussions take place
on ranking them by priority.
