Re: Resolution for an inter-governmental agreement with the City and County of Honolulu
The real property tax administrators of the four (4) counties realize that they have
common concerns and need to support each other. It was determined that benefits
could be realized by working together to share resources. As a result, through a cost
sharing agreement with the City and County of Hawaii, certain real property services
will be provided to support our county's real property tax program.
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a multi-year
intergovernmental agreement with the City and County of Honolulu for real property tax
program support services as well as authorizing the payment of funds for more than one
fiscal year for this agreement.
If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Department of Finance.
