Re: Bill for an Ordinance Authorizing the Issuance of General Obligation Bonds for the Department of
Water Supply
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance authorizing the issuance of$31,000,000 in general obligation bonds of the
County of Hawai'i for the Department of Water Supply ("DWS"). The DWS will reimburse the General
Fund for the related debt service on the bonds and the cost of issuance.
The Board of Water Supply has already approved the borrowing for $30,000,000 in project costs and
$1,000,000 in issuance costs.
