RESOLUTION NO. 265 00
A RESOLUTION CREATING A TEMPORARY ELECTION CLERK I POSITION FOR THE OFFICE
OF THE COUNTY CLERK -ELECTIONS DIVISION
WHEREAS, the Office of the County Clerk -Elections Division currently has eight Temporary
Election Clerk I positions to assist in the conduct of elections held within the county; and
WHEREAS, there is a need to create an additional Temporary Election Clerk I, SR-7, position to
address the increasing volume of voter registration, the growth of absentee voting, and the need to comply
with the provisions of the National Voter Registration Act; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the Regular Salaries and Wages Account of the Office of the
County Clerk -Elections Division.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that one (1) Temporary Election Clerk I, SR-7, position is hereby created in the Office of the
County Clerk -Elections Division.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that funds are available in the Regular Salaries and Wages
Account No. O 10-107-5107.0 ] -011 of the Office of the County Clerk -Elections Division.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that copies of this resolution be transmitted to the Office of the
County Clerk and the Departments of Finance and Civil Service.
