Dear Chairman Arakaki & Members:
As required by §3-6(b) of the Hawaii County Charter, I hereby appoint Mr. Takashi Domingo as
Deputy County Clerk of the County of Hawaii to be effective December 2, 1996.
Mr. Domingo's duties will be expanded to include conducting elections; lobbying efforts at the
U.S. Congress, Hawaii State Legislature, Hawaii State Association of Counties, and National
Association of Counties; and advising on agriculture and land use matters that affect the Big
Island of Hawaii.
Mr. Domingo shall be retained by an employment contract and will not be eligible to qualify for
"high-three" using the Deputy County Clerk's salary under the State Employees' Retirement
System.
