As required by Resolution No. 46-01, reports indicating the number of plants eradicated and the number of complaints received from the public, the type of complaint and the complaint disposition are attached. Reported that he is a former pilot and that he identified the helicopter as flying approximatley 700 feet off of the ground. He stated he has been bombarded daily for the last three months by helicopters at tree top level. He does have medical marijuana but it has not been touched. Highly aggitated male voice only identifying himself as James reports that he is speaking on behalf of thousands of residents and accuses police of "stealing" from people who are trying to make a living. Further reported that the helicopter had been there for over a half hour and inquired of an orange colored tether hanging from the aircraft. Reported that the helicopter was in the area for approximately 1/2 hour, would leave for a few seconds and return. She was concerned for her child due to his/her age. Comments: Caller is not pleased of having the majority of the population inconvenienced by the actions of a few. Reports that overflights are back and have been in the area for approximately 15 minutes. Time in HOVE is 45 min No. of Plants Recovered: Total in excess of 300 Immediate Action Taken: None-call was received and complainant recontacted after aircraft were inflight to Keahole Airport Comments: Upon re-contacting complainant, reported seeing 2-3 helicopters in the HOVE area from mid-morning through the mid-afternoon hours. Chief complaint was the noise that awoke family members and disturbed his dog. Reported the helicopters were in the HOVE subdivision for a total of 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Observed two helicopters but only could described one as being blue. States that a total of 3 aircraft would constantly come and leave over that time period. Could only describe one helicopter as being army green in color. Initial observation made in excess of 1000' above ground level with maneuvering done in excess of 500' above ground for verification. Comments: Caller understood what our purpose was, but wanted to note the disturbance created by the overflight.
