Re: Disposition of County Owned Real Properties
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the Director of Finance to dispose of real
properties, Tax Map Keys (3)5-4-002-008 (Tank Site) AND (3)5-4-003-016 (Chlorinator
Site), to the Water Board of the County of Hawaii. In 1961, the County of Hawaii
obtained the aforementioned properties from the Kohala Sugar Company. Presently,
the Department of Water Supply maintains the chlorinator site and tank site. The Water
Board which now owns the reservoir located on property adjacent to the tank site,
desires to expand its existing reservoir site and other water system facilities at this
location, and plans to consolidate the tank site with its newly acquired reservoir site.
If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Property Management
Division.
