Comm. 588: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE OFFICE OF THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO
(Res. 261-09) AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF HAWAII DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS,
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, AND TOURISM, PURSUANT TO HRS 46-7, TO
DEVELOP A MASTER PLAN FOR THE NORTH KOHALA AGRICULTURAL
PROCESSING FACILITY; and
(Bill 164) AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 09-64, AS AMENDED, THE
OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
ENDING JUNE 30, 2010 (appropriates revenues of $20,000 in the Federal Grants - North
Kohala Agricultural Processing Facility Grant Account; and appropriates same to the
Department of Research and Development, North Kohala Agricultural Processing Facility
Grant Account; these funds will be used to develop a master plan for the facility, which
will serve the community by enabling farmers to process taro into poi and their vegetables

(Bill 166) OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
ENDING JUNE 30, 2010 (appropriates revenues of $71,300 in the Federal Grants -
FEMA DFIRM Grant Account; and appropriates same to the Department of Public
Works, FEMA DFIRM Grant Account; these funds will pay for necessary equipment and
reimburse the County Data Systems' Graphic Information System Division for preparing
the revised riverine portions of the FEMA preliminary Digital Flood Insurance Rate Maps
for Hawaii County)

(Bill 167) AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 09-64, AS AMENDED, THE
OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
ENDING JUNE 30, 2010 (appropriates revenues of $6,792 in the Contribution from
Private Source Account; and appropriates same to the Fire Department, Fireman's Fund
Grant Account; these funds will used to purchase video teleconferencing equipment for
fire stations, upgraded portable fire extinguisher training equipment, a public address
system and building materials for training props)

Exhibit A, Draft 4, to adjust funding for various projects based on actual needs that differ
from the original estimates in the bond ordinance and subsequent amendment)
