Dear Mr. Arakaki,
I am honored that I am being considered for the position
of Deputy County Clerk. Although, I have not sought such
consideration it would be a privilege and honor to continue
to serve the community in such a capacity.
The impetus for such service is to be of assistance in
the on-going effort to improve the quality of life for our
citizens. I do not want there to be any confusion as to the
focus and willingness to undertake this assigniment,
therefore, I will not submit this service and employment in
calculating my retirement, commonly referred to as the "high
three".
I am ready to accept the challenge.
