On October 20, 2009 the Council's Finance Committee initiated discussion on Bill 161 to amend the existing
bond authorization in Ordinance 08-106, as amended by Ordinances 09-92 and 09-92A. The Finance
Committee voted to defer consideration of this bill to the November 3, 2009 meeting.
Events subsequent to the original consideration of Bill 161 have dictated a change in the allocation of funds
as shown in Exhibit A, Draft 4 of the bill. Attached is an amended Exhibit A, which we request replace the
current exhibit. Two changes have been made that also result in changes to two sub-total amounts. The
changes have been highlighted in this copy for ease of identification.
Funding for Lako Street of $1 million has been restored as the result of recent changes in the status of that
project. Funding for Parks and Recreation Repairs/Improvements to Facilities has been decreased by $1
million in order to provide funds for Lako Street. All other identified projects and the total amount remain
the same.
