RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A MONETARY DONATION, FROM
HAWAII POLICE ATHLETIC FEDERATION.
WHEREAS, Hawaii Police Athletic Federation of P.O. Box 22623, Honolulu Hawaii 96823,
has donated Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), to the Hawaii Police Department HIPAL Program; and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the
Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts or donations or personal property;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that, in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, it accepts
the donation of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), from Hawaii Police Athletic Federation of Honolulu,
Hawaii for the Hawaii Police Department.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation be sent to Hawaii Police Athletic
Federation of P.O. Box 22623, Honolulu Hawaii 96823, acknowledging this generous donation.
