Subject: Withdrawal of Resolution 259-09 (Communication 582); A RESOLUTION
ENCOURAGING THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION TO REPRIORITIZE THE
DEPARTMENT'S ALLOTMENT PRIORITIES PROJECT LIST TO MOVE THE KA'U
HIGH A~D pAHALA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION AND
EQUIPMENT OF THE GYMNASIUM/CIVIL DEFENSE SHELTER, GROUND AND SITE
IMPROVEMENTS; EQUIPMENT AND APPUR1ENANCES PROJECT TO ITS HIGHEST
POSSIBLE LEVEL OF PRIORITY.
Due to newly discovered information about Hawai'i State Department of
Education funding procedures, I wish to withdraw my resolution 259-09 from the
November 4,2009 council agenda until further notice.
