Goals: Hawaii's communities have the necessary economic, workforce, and
physical capacity for an aging society.
Objectives:
In partnership with the public and private sectors, HCOA will provide at
least 58 older individuals training and part-time employment opportunites.
Outcomes or Results: 57 older adults received training and part-time employment; 7,388 hours
or 28% of community service assignments were utilized in positions serving the needs of older
adults; 20 participants or 40% of participants had priority designations; 5 participants were
retained in unsubsidized employment for 6 months or more. Comm. NO.~~. 17
