It is my pleasure to nominate Karolyn P. Lundkvist from Council District 5 to the Ha"'wah CQJ;jnty
Salary Commission. Ms. Lundkvist is a 13-year resident of Hawai'i. She and her Rusbanetare
owners of Lundkvist Aviation Research and Lundkvist Palm Garden, where she works in
accounts as well as sales.
Ms. Lundkvist is currently President of the Rotary Club of Pahoa and a past Vice-President of
the Rotary Club of Hilo Bay. She is also presently an outreach-coordinator for the Hawai'i
Association for Family and Communication Education.
Ms. Lundkvist states that she is a republican. If confirmed, she will serve a term to expire on
December 31,2013.
