SUBJECT: Transmitting Resolution No. 205-09, Draft 5
Attached is Resolution No. 205-09, Draft 5, which urges Congress to support and provide
Federal funding for the highest priority capital improvement projects in the County of
Hawaii.
On November 4, 2009, Council Members amended Resolution No. 205-09, Draft 4, via
Communication Nos. 420.18, 420.20, 420.21, and 420.22. At this meeting, Council
Members voted on the priority of each district's capital improvement project and ranked
them as follows:
1. Ainaloa Waterline Installation
2. Kalopa Sand Gulch Bypass Road
3. La`aloa Street Extension
4. Kahuku Park Community/Senior Center & Gym
5. County-Wide Radio Tower Installation
6. Waikoloa Gym
7. Hilo Bayfront Trails
8. Ahalanui/Pohoiki Bay Beach Park
9. Mid-Level Road (Ane Keohokalole Highway)
