<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ~iv,os•N <br /> .Vw <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAIII STATE OF HAWAII <br /> <br /> BILL NO. 143 <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 09 137 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 <br /> (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC. <br /> <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. Purpose. The purpose of this amendment is to update the Hawaii County <br /> Code to keep it current with existing conditions. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 1, section 24-254 (schedule 2. 20 mile per <br /> <br /> hour limit) paragraph (g), Puna, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), <br /> <br /> is amended by repealing and deleting subparagraph (6) as follows, with any remaining clauses to <br /> <br /> be appropriately renumbered: <br /> <br /> "[(6) Wright Read, ' <br /> <br /> SECTION 3. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is <br /> <br /> underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and stricken material <br /> <br /> and underscoring need not be included. <br /> <br /> SECTION 4. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person <br /> <br /> or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications <br /> <br /> of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to <br /> <br /> this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. <br />
