Re: Resolution Accepting Donation
Enclosed is a resolution accepting a donation of a Furuno Marine Radar from Mr.
Tom Hesketh, 73-4334 Papaana Place, Kailua-Kona, Hi 96740. This marine radar,
with an estimated total value of $3,000 and to be provided to the Kailua Search and
Rescue Company, will enhance the maritime navigation capabilities and improve the
safety and effectiveness of marine missions.

B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED).
Purpose of donation: To provide the Kailua Search and Rescue company of the Hawaii Fire Department
with the aforementioned device and equipment to enhance their maritime navigation capabilities and
improve the safety and effectiveness of marine missions. The device and equipment will be installed on the
Rescue Boat assigned to Kailua Fire Station.
