ORDINANCE NO. 99 4
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 98-50, AS AMENDED,
RELATING TO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 1998 TO JUNE 30, 1999.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Purpose. The purpose of this bill is to redistribute the fuel tax
allocation of the Puna Fuel Tax District as specified in Ordinance No. 97-121. The
amount for Engineering Division Projects is reduced by $200,000 and the amount
for Highway/Traffic Division Projects is increased by the same amount to fund
paving of Kapoho Beach Road.
SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 98-50, as amended, Relating to Public
Improvements and Financing Thereof for the Fiscal Year July 1, 1998 to June 30,
1999, is hereby amended by increasing funding for Highway/Traffic Division
Projects by $200,000 and decreasing funding by the same amount for Engineering
Division Projects within the Puna Fuel Tax District.
SECTION 3. Funds for this project change shall be provided from:
2236.03 Unallotted Appropriation Fuel Tax Increase 96-98 Account of the
Capital Projects Fund
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
