Re: Transmitting Resolution No. 237-09, Draft 4
Attached please find Resolution No. 237-09, Draft 4, for referral to the December 2, 2009, council
agenda.
Resolution No. 237-09, Draft 3, was amended with the contents of Communication No. 525.19,
Communication No. 525.20, and Communication No. 525.22 by the council during its meeting on
November 18, 2009.
During the same meeting, Resolution No. 237-09, Draft 3, was further amended by the council via a
verbal amendment to the final clause of the resolution, which read as follows:
"BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that the county clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Honorable William Kenoi, Mayor; Dr. Chiyome Fukino, Director
Department of Health; the Honorable Linda Lingle, Governor; the Honorable Daniel
Akaka, U. S. Senator; the Honorable Daniel Inouye, U. S. Senator; the Honorable Mazie
Hirono, U.S. Representative; the Honorable Neil Abercrombie, U.S. Representative; [the
Honer-able Russell Kokubua, State Senawr-; and the Henemble Faye P * ,
Repr-esentat ] the Honorable Colleen Hanabusa, State Senate President, and the
Honorable Calvin K.Y. Say, Speaker of the State House."
