County of Hawaii--Mate of Hawaii
Resolution
WHEREAS, by instrument dated March 5, 1954, and recorded in
the Office of the Registrar of Conveyances of the State of Hawaii
in Liber 2834 at Page 335, Norton Bradford McQuerrey and Rachel
Yamaguchi McQuerrey granted unto the County of Hawaii a certain
perpetual easement for a reservoir or tank site upon the land more
fully described in Exhibit A attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii, through its Department of Water
Supply, has determined that such easement is no longer necessary
and/or required for its water system in Kona;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII that said perpetual easement for a reservoir or tank
site as described in Exhibit A be and is hereby declared abandoned
as a reservoir or tank site.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the County of Hawaii
be and is hereby authorized to reconvey the abandoned reservoir or
tank site easement to Mr. and Mrs. Norton McQuerrey.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Clerk be authorized
and directed to forward a copy of this Resolution to the Department
of Water Supply.
